Sunday School for Adults

Here at Elizabeth River Baptist Church we offer a wide variety of Bible study classes. Our classes are not defined by age but by our passion for following Jesus, our starting point begins each Sunday morning at 9:30 am. All of our adult Sunday school classes study from either “Explore The Bible” or “Bible Studies for Life” curriculum. Both are an in-depth, easy to understand study series built to lead groups through major biblical themes and truths for consistent, ongoing Bible Study.

The teaching approach is different in each class. We invite you to visit our classes to find your learning style. Adult classes have mixed ages, singles, and couples (unless specified).

That’s why Explore the Bible: Adults takes groups book by book through Scripture, framing every passage in its appropriate biblical and cultural context. The result is a framework for both knowing and living out God’s Word in personal and transformative ways.

The New Member Class

The New Member Class is offered to those interested in membership at ERBC and for all new members to ERBC.
